(c.1528-1600) French Renaissance composer. His musical output includes numerous secular chansons, a huge number of Protestant psalm settings, a dozen or so Latin motets, a Magnificat, a mass, and three instrumental fantasias (landmarks in the genre). The tumultuous times in which he lived prevented Le Jeune from gaining much acclaim. There are many other sites available in French.
