Zeisl, Eric

Composer Eric Zeisl (1905-1959) left Austria because of growing anti-Semitism. He spent a brief time in Paris, then moved to the United States, settling in Hollywood. He became an American citizen in 1945. Among his students was famed film composer Jerry Goldsmith.
